The following are the requirements for nominating an animal for an ALC Dam/Sire Recognition Award.
Deadline April 10, 2008

1) Please send a copy of the DHIR INDIVIDUAL DOE PAGE for lactation completed by March 15th of the current year for each nominated doe. These are the only lactation records that will be accepted as proof.
2) Please send a copy of your ADGA LINEAR APPRAISAL SCORE SHEET for these awards. This must be included for these awards.

3) These awards are open to Purebreds, Americans, Experimentals and Grades owned by members of the American LaMancha Club.
4) Recorded Grades animals must meet the ADGA breed standard for LaManchas; Experimental animals must have at least one LaMancha parent. Entries that do not meet one of these requirements will be returned.
5) Check box next to qualifying description below. Complete form and mail with photocopies, together with appropriate fees to chairman listed below.

5) Please make copies of this form for additional does. DEADLINE: Postmark by April 10, 2008
6) An ALC member must be the current owner of the animal whose records are being submitted. The Production program is open to all ALC members in good standing, (dues current). Non-members may join ALC concurrently, providing that the $15.00 annual membership fee is also enclosed. All payments must be included with entry forms. Membership must be paid by the time the entries are submitted and will be for the current year.

RUBY BRACELET AWARD:
    Presented to a doe/buck who has daughters/sons that qualify in any one of the following categories:
    A) Is the dam/sire of 3 does producing the following: (may be a combination of levels)
                Age 1: At least 2,100# milk, and/or 99 pounds butterfat, and/or 84 pounds protein
                Age 2: At least 2,300# milk, and/or 99 pounds butterfat, and/or 84 pounds protein
                Age 3-5: At least 2,500# milk, and/or 99 pounds butterfat, and/or 84 pounds protein
                A daughter of any age receiving a score of 22 points or more on an official ADGA One Day Star Test (Milking competition).
                    Must have verification from ADGA of this score as well as it being reached in the current year.
        B) Has 3 daughters/sons with a final LA score of at least the following scores:
                85 or above as a yearling
                87 or above as a two-year old
                89 or above as a three year old or older

            All daughters must score a V or E in both General Appearance and Mammary. All sons must score V or E in General Appearance.
        C) Has 3 Permanent Champion Daughters/Sons.

    PEARL BRACELET AWARD: For does or bucks that have a final score of 90
    JADE BRACELET AWARD: For does or bucks that have a final score of 91 or 92
        TOPAZ BRACELET AWARD: For does or bucks that have a final score of 93 or higher
        AMETHYST BRACELET AWARD: For does or bucks that have a final permanent score of 90 or higher--can be earned only once
